A note from a proud Dad
I thought we should post Carl's email, you never know when inspiration will strike.
From Carl:
Many art historians have wondered, what exactly is the story behind Le Chat Au Ski (2007), one of the finest examples of Charlotte Zimmer's early colored-pencil period. Charlotte had just returned from Lake Placid, New York, still giddy from her first downhill ski, and was inspired to draw her cat Tino skiing. Then she thought it would be even better if Tino was also jumping rope at the same time. Voila, a masterpiece.
Thanks for the inspiration...

Kidco Trips Launches
Michelle and I thought it might be fun to have a communal blog for the Lake Placid trip, so you can all post your photos (or links to your photos) right on the site, and also comment if you like. Also, you are free to add any other postings on any of your trips.
We called it Kidco Trips only because we figured it was catchy and y'all would know what it meant.
To post, I think you just need to go to the top of the page to "New Posts" and then select "Create Post." There are icons to click if you want to download photos. It's all pretty easy.

A great ski weekend at Lake Placid, organized by Michelle for Charlie's 40th birthday. Here's a link to some pictures.
